Crowcon Instruments Ltd has been the market leader in its field for over 30 years, and during this time we have designed high-quality products for safety and environmental monitoring purposes. We are based in Oxfordshire, but have branches in Europe, South East Asia and North America which employ over 200 full time staff. Gas-T ec

This is a portable hydrocarbon gas detector for rapid gas surveying and leak localisation. The Gas-Tec is a state-of-the-art device which allows full data, event and GPS logging. This means the operator has the ability to store and send gas survey reports and highlight areas of significant leakage. The Gas-Tec detects gas in less than two seconds and has an easy-to-use functionality.

With seven language variants and enhanced electronic controls, this lightweight, robust and IP tested detector is perfect for a variety of applications. The Gas-Tec allows around 22 hours of use after a 2.5 hour battery charge. This model has been developed from the tried and tested Telegan Gas-Tec engine.

Tetra 3

The Tetra 3, the latest addition to the Tetra family, is an intrinsically safe personal Multigas monitor. This gas detector is extremely easy to use, thanks to its single button operation and small size and weight. Developed from the tried and tested Tetra products, the Tetra 3 has been designed for use in demanding industrial environments. It is water and dust resistant to IP67 and can even be submerged in water. Its compact and robust design also makes this device impact resistant.

The Tetra 3 can detect up to four gases and its lithium-ion battery offers over 16 hours operating time from a single charge. When the Tetra 3 detects gas, a rapid and effective warning is signalled with an extremely bright red and blue visual alarm and a vibrating alarm. 

Xgard

These are detectors for flammable, toxic and oxygen gases. Our Xgard range comprises of a complete selection of fixed point gas detectors that meet the various requirements of gas detection regulations in industries across the globe.

Intrinsically Safe (IS) and Flameproof (Exd) options are available to suit a wide range of uses. The Xgard range offers a diverse range of sensors, including electrochemical sensors to detect toxic gases and oxygen, poison resistant pellistors to detect flammable gas, and thermal conductivity sensors to monitor concentrations of gases. 

Gasmaste

The Gasmaster is a 1-4 Channel control system. Flexible and easy to use, this is the perfect solution for wherever you need a self-contained control panel that monitors fire or gas hazards. With outstanding performance and many unique features, the Gasmaster is an all-encompassing solution.

A large LCD screen offers simultaneous display of all channels, and an event log function allows alarms and faults to be checked. The Gasmaster control panel is operated with a full push-button keypad, meaning standard operation, calibration and test functions are simple and time-saving procedures. 

Gasman

This compact and lightweight design is a full function personal single gas monitor that is robustly built for the most demanding of environments. With a single button operation and a large display screen which is easy to read, the Gasman makes gas monitoring effortless.

This device is available in several versions for monitoring flammable gas, oxygen and toxic gases. A 95dBA alarm and a bright flashing visual alarm provide a warning when gases are detected.
