Brecknell Willis are world leaders in electrified transport systems. The company is split into two divisions:- Trainborne Equipment Division deals with all equipment on the move - pantographs, third rail shoegear/current collectors, axle return brushgear and associated technology. Electrified Systems Division provides all fixed equipment for both third rail and overhead systems including everything outside substations. Within the 240-strong workforce Brecknell Willis has a strong engineering team to support its worldwide innovation activities in Railway Electrification. The team is able to take projects from the initial outline design stage through prototyping, testing and trials on the client's railway.
