Elmatic Ltd is the UK’s largest manufacturer of Industrial Electric Heating Elements, producing everything from cartridge heaters, nozzle heaters and mica heaters through to air duct heaters, immersion heaters and ceramic knuckle heaters. Since establishment way back in 1949, the company has grown steadily to become a recognised industry leader, with around 75 dedicated members of staff and a state-of-the-art 45,000 sq ft factory that is constantly developed and updated to reflect current trends in modern industry.

Our Mica Insulated Heaters are used for a wide range of applications, including blow moulding, rubber moulding, packaging, shoe manufacturing, food processing, and much more. We have a large range that includes mica bands, mica plates, mica nozzles, mica discs, mica boxes, and mica ‘Us’, strips and cones. Mica heaters are widely recognised for their reliability and efficiency – Elmatic utilise the highest quality mica available, ensuring excellent dielectric strength and maximum heat transfer. Specially treated sheath materials are used for enhanced thermal conductivity and improved oxidation-resistance.

Elmatic's range of cartridge heaters are typically used for applications such as heating mould tools, tooling, printing, hot foil printing, catering, shoe manufacturing, and in packaging machinery, heat sealing equipment, plastic process machinery and food processing machinery. All of our products are
engineered to suit the full spectrum of cartridge heater applications. These are available as standard or bespoke models which can be designed and manufactured to your requirements.
