Salmonella contamination is one of the major causes of food poisoning outbreaks throughout the world, and leads to plant suspensions, product recalls and other expensive remediation measures.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recognises that Salmonella control in animal feeds is a vital component of infection control in pork, beef and poultry meat and products for human consumption.

Our Termin-8® Pathogen Control Programme has been designed to control pathogenic bacteria in feeds and their ingredients, and to prevent recontamination for a period of at least 28 days. Termin-8® biocidal liquid is suitable for all types of feed, and controls E.coli, Clostridia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus as well as a wide variety of other gram negative and gram positive bacteria.
