VISION STATEMENT To be recognised as a leading members organisation for the advancement of education and professional development in the science and technology of brewing, distilling and related industries We provide education, training and examinations for the Brewing & Distilling industry. Our examinations are held worldwide, at centers to suit the candidates. We are also a membership organisation, with sections in Africa, Asia Pacific, Ireland, Scotland and the UK. We hold conventions every year for the industry, and every three years hold a Worldwide Distilled Spirits Conference. We have several publications, monthly - The Brewer & Distiller International magazine, a quarterly technical journal - The Journal of the Institute of Brewing and an annual IBD Members Directory.
