Tubing and Hoses
Watson-Marlow tubing is available in nine materials and over 40 standard sizes plus custom sizes, giving users extra ordinary chemical and application capability.
Pumpsil, PureWeld, Bioprene, Marprene are all extruded in our state-of-the-art tubing plant which includes a ISO 14644-1 Class 7 cleanroom with temperature and humidity controls to create the optimum conditions for silicone tubing. Watson-Marlow is the only peristaltic pump manufacturer which extrudes its own tubing.
Custom sizes and packaging are available and comprehensive validation packs are available to download upon request.

Materials
Pumpsil platinum-cured silicone tubing has an ultra-smooth bore, is laser-etched to make it lot-traceable, and is post-cured to reduce leachables to near-zero. It is manufactured in our own dedicated tubing plant, and carries full USP Class VI and ISO 10993 certification, is FDA-compliant and is fully validated.
Bioprene thermoplastic elastomer offers the best combination of purity, chemical compatibility and long pumping life. It is manufactured in our own dedicated tubing plant. It is USP Class VI certified and FDA compliant, and is fully validated.
PureWeld XL - Fully weldable and heat-sealable ADCF free PureWeld thermoplastic elastomer gives excellent pumping performance and produces virtually no internal spallation. It is USP Class VI and FDA compliant, and is fully validated.
PureWeld XL can be used in processes such as cell culture and fermentation, media preparation and transfer, sterile filling and dispensing, vaccine and therapeutics production, high purity water transfer and diagnostics.
GORE STA-PURE PCS is a composite of silicone in an ePTFE lattice. It has burst resistance up to 7 bar and 18 times the pumping life of silicone. It produces virtually no spallation. It is USP Class VI approved.
GORE STA-PURE PFL (formerly CHEM-SURE) is a composite of ePTFE and a high-grade fluoroelastomer, offering extraordinary chemical resistance, long life and very high burst pressures. It is USP Class VI approved.
