Avalon Group Services are Trainers for the social care providers; based team in the North West of the UK provides people with a shared vision of society that offers equal rights and opportunities. The Avalon Group Services was established in 1994 to recruit, train and support individuals and families who wish to offer care and support in the community for adults with learning disabilities. The Avalon Group 'Services' offers Adult placement with a Supported Living service, through our Breakaway 2000 Holiday Scheme and a Sitting service. The Avalon Group Services work with Older Adults, people experiencing Mental Health difficulties as well as physical and learning disabilities and vulnerable adults from different cultures.

- Avalon Group Services - The Avalon Group 'Services' established in 1994 as Adult Placement Services (APS), The Avalon Group 'Services' primary aim was to recruit, train and support individuals and families who wished to offer support for adults with learning disabilities. The Avalon Group 'Services' organisation's innovative work led the company to being known as the 'second largest Family Living Provider in the UK'.
In 1999, this expertise led The Avalon Group 'Services' to expand into Supported Living Services by launching a Specialised Housing Project in Harrogate. Working in partnership with a range of housing providers, including private landlords and housing associations, this was closely followed by similar projects in Scarborough and Dewsbury.
