With more than 30 years experience dealing with timber and more than 10 years with corrugated cartons, Container Products Ltd are specialists in the manufacture and supply of packing boxes, corrugated cartons and lots more! Container Products Ltd provide product packing and container loading, either at our premises or on your site, and we can arrange shipping and airfreight forwarding, which includes documentation. We operate from modern premises and with a well-trained workforce that has the flexibility to react with speed when required.

Export Packing

Export packing work can be undertaken either at the customer's site or at ours, where we have access to all of the necessary heavy lifting equipment. Before starting any job, all items need to be accessed and measured, to assure that they are packed using all available space in each case, while also benefiting from maximum protection. Your goods will be packaged appropriately for their environmental conditions, be it with tropical packing, foil barrier technology, shrink wrapping or waterproof linings. Our experience in packing assures that your products will arrive safely.

Packing Cases

We manufacture high quality timber and plywood cases and crates, which are designed and constructed in accordance with BS1133 section 8 and ISPM15 regulations for sea and air freight. The ISPM15 regulations require that the materials used be heat treated at 56°C for 30 minutes, to eliminate any insects or eggs that may reside in the timber. The timber is delivered with a certificate from the saw mill, confirming that it conforms to the ISPM15 standards. Once the cases are completed, they are stamped with our unique identification number, so that they can be traced.

Corrugated Cartons

We use our Autobox maker to convert cardboard into virtually any style of box, with many designs pre-programmed so that only the internal dimensions need to be entered. The Autobox utilizes a powerful micro controller, which allows it to reduce the effort of calculation and minimize set-up time.

All cartons are produced in high quality single or double fluted board, and are offered along side our standard wooden products as a part of our single source services. We specialise in small or medium runs, which are ideal if the goods are particularly light or fragile.

Container Loading

We can arrange and load containers at any site in the country. Before beginning, we assess and measure all items so that we can utilise all the space available and recommend the best type of container for the job. The container types are general purpose, open top and flat rack. General purpose containers are loaded from the end, open top containers are used for tall or hard to load items and flat rack containers have no sidewalls to allow transportation of wide loads.
