We design and manufacture a comprehensive range of cryogenic valves, including gate, ball, globe, fill and relief valves. Generally used with cryogenic gases such as oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and liquid natural gas (LNG), applications for these include medical gas management, environmental control, static storage tanks and shipboard gas handling.

As protective flow switches from the Birflo range of flow control equipment, Truflo valves are designed and manufactured to the highest specifications using the finest quality materials. The Truflo valve operates via diaphragm action that is triggered by changes of as little as 2 PSI in the differential pressure of a flow through a calibrated nozzle. The diaphragm movement in turn operates a microswitch. Normally operated as protection against insufficient flow, each Truflo valve is calibrated at the factory to operate at its stated flow. The Truflo's minimum and maximum operating pressures are 3 psi (0.21 kg/cm2) and 150 psi (10.6 kg/cm2) respectively. Its minimum and maximum operating temperatures are 1C (34F) and 70C (160F). A simple water flow controller from the Birflo flow control equipment range, the Constaflo ensures the maintenance of flow rates within ± 10% of its rated capacity when operating within its rated temperature and pressure limits. When subjected to pressure differences, the EP6523 diaphragm in the Constaflo flexes onto a profiled orifice. This varies the area of the orifice which in turn affects the flow rate. In this manner, the Constaflo maintains a constant rate of flow despite varying upstream or downstream pressures. The Constaflo's maximum working pressure is 200 psi (14 kg/cm2). The maximum rated pressure difference is 200 psi (14 kg/cm2) and the minimum pressure difference is 15 psi (1.06 kg/cm2). Its minimum and maximum temperatures are 1C and 65C respectively. Marine and Commercial models are available in a range of sizes in gunmetal/kemetal and brass, with EP6523 or silicon diaphragms. Stainless steel is an option in some sizes, as are M.O.D. (N) approved materials. Multi-Constaflo valves are also available.

We offer several types of magnetic mechanical level switches for pump control and liquid level alarms. All of them operate by means of a floating magnet which rises and falls with liquid level. If the change in level is large enough to move the floating magnet past a fixed switch magnet, their similar poles will repel each other, forcing the switch magnet to move and break a set of contacts.
Our mechanical level switches are available in a wide variety of configurations for numerous applications, including a submersible switch as well as a shrouded model for use with dirty liquids, and low temperature models. Alarm and pump control switches can be electrical or pneumatic and both horizontal and vertical mountings are available.

Our vertical level switches are weatherproof and flameproof, and offer a unique springless 3 magnet latching switch mechanism that overcomes all the inherent problems of micro switches and mercury tubes. They are available in direct mount or chamber mount, with carbon or stainless steel chambers.
There is a choice of two switching functions, DPDT (DPCO) or 2 x SPST (SPCO) switching. Four variants of each are available:
Long-lasting silver cadmium oxide contacts for general purpose use
Gold-plated contacts in a low power circuit for low current/voltage use
High power circuits with up to 10A switching capability
Lifetime hermetically sealed for the highest reliability

The Mobrey M Switch provides high reliability switching in a simple voltage-free liquid level alarm or pump control with small in-tank dimensions. With rugged industrial build quality, its 316 stainless steel construction can be side mounted with either a flange or thread mounting. The gold-plated microswitch contacts are suitable for low level circuit use.
Typical applications for the Mobrey M Switch include header tank pump control, high and low condensate alarms in tanks, pump and level control in storage tanks and low level alarms for fuel and lubricating oils.

We offer MCL Unitex Limited Firetex penetration seals and enclosure systems, made from glass cloths, high temperature resistant cloths, metal foils, insulation blankets and felts, high grade stainless steel sheets and silica-aerogel panels.
An elastomeric membrane coating which has been tested to DIN53436H protects MCL's flexible systems against extreme environments. MCL's seals and systems are tested in accordance with DOE Specification Issue 1:1990 for a period of two hours following the hydrocarbon fire time versus temperature curve.
We are registered with Achilles for the provision of pipe penetration seals and other fire protection products to the oil industry in Denmark and Norway.

and flow control for the water industry. These units feature a 4-20mA loop
powered transmitter and a multi-function control unit with integral programming
keypad. The systems are ATEX II (1) G certified for use in Zone O areas. Mobrey
ultrasonic and hydrostatic systems have been used successfully for many years
