Holmen's new NHP300 in line pellet durability tester can produce pellet sample test results automatically directly from a transfer duct.
Perfectly suited for eliminating wastage and maintaining quality assurance in high-volume pellet processing plants, the NHP300 performs testing on an automatically retrieved sample, then returns it to the transfer duct. The test results, indicating the
"pellet durability index" (PDI) can be sent to either an independent display or in ASCII format directly to the mill control.
In addition to the PDI calculation, the NHP300 also has the optional capability of calculating the amount of dust (Fines) in the sample.
