Spanlite Buildings Ltd provides various industries with high quality steel buildings. The relatively new concept of cold rolled steel buildings has become increasingly popular during recent years as an efficient construction solution for wide span buildings. We have more than 30 years experience in the supply and installation of steel buildings and have provided customers with a wide range of buildings such as storage buildings, small industrial buildings, workshops, industrial units, warehouse, M.O.T. stations, valet bays, covered horse arenas, stables and American barns. We use the latest technology to generate and create 3D quotations including elements such as elevation cladding, frame elevations, foundations, and typical connections. 

Structure

All of our frames are manufactured from high grade, fully galvanized steel to BS EN 10147, Fe E390G and E450G and our structures comply with the latest BS5950 and European codes. All measurements are within increments of 1mm and our standard roof pitches are of 5, 10, 15, and 20 degrees (although specific roof pitches can be created upon request). To form the structure we use CEE sections that are available from 140mm to 500mm and can be provided singly or back to back up to 5mm thick. Main entrance doors can be roller or insulated and fire/access doors are also accommodated. 

Stables

We provide the equestrian industry with high quality stables to suit each different yard layout. Stables can be conventional portals or American barn style and feature overhang eaves. We use internal partitions and doors manufactured from Swedish Fir and offer a choice of doors that can be opening or sliding to suit your preferences. We also provide anti-condensation single skin sheets that are applied to the underside of the roof sheet as well as vented sheets for the circulation of air. Other options include timber weatherboard or Yorkshire boarding.

Cladding

Our cladding can either be single skin or composite (insulated). Our single skin cladding is available in a choice of 25 different colours to suit your requirements and is available in thickness from 0.5mm to 0.7mm. Various plastisol coatings are available and anti condensation coating is an option. All flashings, gutters, and RWPs are also available in various colours. We advise up to 25 years guarantee until the first maintenance of cladding and up to 40 years life expectancy depending on the colour of the cladding.
