Initiated by Plastics Ireland in 1999, First Polymer Training operates as a training network for the Irish Plastics Industry and is funded through Skillnets. We provide technical and management training, offering more than 30 individual programmes. Our focus is to deliver intensive, practical training that adds value to your business - theory, practice, correction, and practice is the format of all of our training courses. We have three FETAC Major Awards certified to date in Injection Moulding, Extrusion and Blow Moulding. We are currently developing a degree programme for technicians in the industry which we hope to commence in 2009.
