Noblet started trading in 1996 under the Noblet Plant Hire banner, now a sister company. In October 1997, the ITOCHU Corporation of Japan, launched Noblet Municipal Services Limited, as a wholly owned subsidiary with a fully paid-up a share capital of than £2 million.
Since 1997, Noblet Municipal Services has grown into a fleet of some 75 vehicles. The business at present, consists mainly of Spot Hire, but now with a growing, long-term contract hire section of our business. The sucess of our Contract Hire market is mainly due to our new product of the "3 plus 3" year, hire agreement, with the supply of new vehicles at the end of year three, and we also consider five and seven year contracts. We now have extensive contract hire agreements with some of the UK's largest refuse collection companies, as well as the local authorities themselves.
