We want you to have the most beautiful staircase you have ever imagined. That’s why we take our craftsmanship very seriously and pay special attention to every step in the design and fabrication process. Only selected quality hardwoods are used for every curved staircase and part we manufacture. You’ll see the difference a Maple Tree Workshop bespoke staircase makes.
Our cut sting staircases always include cove mouldings adding a touch of class that makes a huge impact. Corners are always mitred; other companies use unsightly butt joints. We only use mitred tread returns on our curved staircases this give a polished and professional look. Squeak-free staircases! We reinforce each step with anti-squeak blocks, so your staircase will not make a peep! Each spindle is secured using a tap-lock fitting for a tight fit every time. Other companies simple use messy glue that will inevitably loosen.
• Curved and Spiral staircases are very difficult to build and require expertise, precision and architectural engineering.
• Our curved and spiral staircases are constructed in a climate controlled, state of the art facility.
• Your curved or spiral staircase will be built exactly as indicated on our AutoCAD drawings and specs. Handrails are built directly on the bespoke staircase to ensure the handrails fit perfectly.
• The curved handrail will be pre-bent with the top and bottom fittings attached, newel posts set in place and all spindles pre-fitted. The handrail will have been previously been set up in the workshop, numbered and dismantled for easy installation. You’ll save hours on onsite labour.
• Our joiners are exceptionally trained and work under the guidance of our Quality Control Manager. They are experts in their craft and it shows.
• Your curved or spiral staircase can be delivered completely assembled. Just set it and secure it in place. It’s that easy!
