Essentials is a company established to provide support and advice to organisations requiring a complete range of storage products to be either supplied or installed. These products
include: mobile shelving, which sometimes is called roller racking, shelving and cupboards for offices, archive shelving; including to BS5454 : 2000. These products are used in offices, archives, store or stock rooms, warehouses and museums and we have extensive experience in designing these types of systems; whether it be for a single bay, or larger installation. Many organisations use our expertise to get the optimum or most efficient use of the space available. Our designs are based either on a consultancy basis or on a purchase and installation service. We can offer a supply only service as well as those requiring a lease agreement or rack rental payment option.
As a company we supply the optimum product, so as to allow the best storage solution to be implemented and used.
- Items that are larger or heavier can be stored on long or wide span racking or pallet racking if loaded with a fork lift truck. These products are normally found in stores, warehouses and depots.
- Storage Essentials also design, supply and install structural steel floors or platforms or mezzanine
floors, which allow the maximum use of all the available space within a building.
- Partitioning, whether for offices or the warehouse environment.
- Personnel storage requirements are catered by the supply of a wide range of lockers, which link together to form a comprehensive solution to all personal storage requirements. Many locker requirements also require bench seating, cubicles and other changing room items such as coat and shoe racks.
- So as to ensure that our product range meet our clients demands for both optimum design and specification our products are manufactured to our exacting quality standards and most are manufactured to ISO 9000 quality control requirements.
Individual products offer advantages whilst the adjustable shelving combines flexibility with shelf load and strength as well as appearance. This is one reason for
it's use in the office to provide storage for files and this type of storage is a major element of

Combination shelves allow these files to be stored laterally or on the shelf whilst our range of colour coded or end tabbed files and folders provide a safe and easy way to achieve for most a filing heaven! A key element of our service is the ability to move the stored product whilst the new installation is being carried out. This is an extremely important element and is vital to ensure a smooth and harmonious transfer between the existing and new method of storage. This is more important when we are installing filing systems in offices and our file transfer service is specially designed to allow full access to the files, even during transit.
