| Company Description |
We are one of the leading suppliers of miniature ball bearings for manufacturing, design and industrial applications in the UK and Europe. We have more than a quarter century of industry experience, and in addition to miniature bearings we also stock thin section, plastic, stainless steel and low noise electric motor bearings. Our in-depth product knowledge and expertise means we can save you time and money in choosing the correct bearing for your application. We can quote from descriptions or drawings as well as interpret manufacturer part numbers. We supply high precision EZO brand bearings as well as low-cost SMB China bearings. We keep high numbers of bearings in stock and can offer same-day worldwide despatch on most sizes. Our bearings are used in a wide variety of industries and applications, including automotive, bakery and other food machinery, bicycles, clocks, domestic appliances, fishing reels, precision instruments, medical equipment, remote controlled models and vacuum applications. We also offer bearing degreasing and re-lubrication services. We can clean all bearing surfaces as well as apply a wide range of specialised lubricants in accordance with your requirements. With our specialist equipment and years of experience, we can re-lubricate bearings of many different types, including needle roller, cylindrical, corrosion-resistant, thin section, miniature ball bearings and electric motor bearings. We can work with open and sealed bearings as well as those with non-removable shielding.

We offer an extensive range of individually tested, chrome steel Electric Motor Quality (EMQ) bearings in metric shaft sizes ranging from 5 mm up to 40 mm.
We can supply low noise (EMQ or V2) as well as extra low noise (EMQ2 or V3) bearings designed for use with applications in which noise or vibration control is critical, such as miniature motors for hard disk drives or servos.
Various radial play groups are available, with standard CN or loose C3 being the most commonly stocked.
Our deep groove EMQ radial ball bearings can stand up to heavy radial loads as well as moderate thrust loads bi-directionally.

We supply flanged miniature bearings, also known as instrument bearings, to fit shaft sizes from 1 mm up to 9 mm. These bearings feature an outer ring flange that facilitates location within a housing.
Open, sealed or shielded deep groove radial flanged miniature bearings are available in chrome or stainless steel, with most sizes available in passivated stainless steel for use in corrosive environments. Many can be supplied as hybrid bearings with ceramic balls.
Our flanged miniature bearings can stand heavy radial loads and moderate thrust loads in both directions.
|
|
As well as a comprehensive stock of miniature and thin-section bearings, we also supply corrosion resistant stainless steel bearings for larger metric sizes from 10 mm to 50 mm. These are available as open, sealed or shielded. Additionally, shielded or sealed bearings with food grade or very high temperature grease can be supplied.
Most sizes are available in passivated stainless steel for marine or other corrosive environments. For very corrosive environments plastic or 316 stainless steel bearings are also available.
These deep groove radial ball bearings can be used for heavy radial and moderate thrust loads in both directions.

We supply plastic bearings to fit shaft sizes from 3 mm to 30 mm. These are generally used when non-magnetic or corrosion resistant properties are required by an application or environment.
A variety of materials are used to manufacture our plastic bearings. The bearing types most frequently used feature acetal resin rings and balls (POM) with nylon cages (PA66). Balls are usually made of 316 stainless steel or glass.
We can supply plastic bearings to order with components made of different materials to specification, including Polypropylene, PTFE or PEEK. Standard plastic bearings are suitable for use with low speeds and low loads, in temperatures less than 90 degrees Celsius, while PTFE and PEEK can be used in environments up to 260 degrees Celsius.
Plastic bearings normally are supplied open, but they can also be provided with one acetal and one rubber seal.

We have used our many years of experience in manufacturing miniature, thin-section and corrosion-resistant bearings to design and develop a range of high quality skate bearings that offer outstanding value for money with high performance for roller and inline skates, skateboards and Heelys.
Our skate bearings are lightly lubricated with free running grease, and offer easy rotation with EMQ noise rating, C3 radial play and P5 ISO/Abec rating. The types of skate bearings we manufacture are:
Chrome steel with steel balls and nylon cage
Chrome steel with ceramic balls and nylon cage (Hybrid)
Stainless steel with stainless steel balls and cage for more corrosion resistance
Micro / Heely bearings of chrome steel with steel balls and nylon cage

We supply miniature thrust bearings, also known as axial bearings, for shaft sizes between 3 mm to 10 mm. These are usually manufactured from SAE52100 chrome steel with brass retainers, but we can also supply them in stainless steel on special order.
We supply miniature thrust bearings with grooved washers to fit shaft sizes from 3 mm to 10 mm, and miniature thrust bearings with flat washers to fit shaft sizes from 5 mm to 10 mm.
|
|
Extended inner ring miniature bearings are available for shaft sizes from 0.0469 inch to 0.3125 inch. These bearings feature an extended inner ring that is 0.0312" wider than the outer ring.
Able to stand up to heavy radial and moderate thrust loads in both directions, these deep groove bearings are normally supplied in stainless steel but we can also provide them in chrome steel.
|
|
Our taper O.D. bearings are available for shaft sizes from 0.125 inch to 0.3125 inch, and are usually supplied in chrome steel but may also be available in stainless steel.
These bearings feature a wider or extended inner ring, and a flanged outer ring that is tapered slightly for fitting into sheet metal or soft steel. They are able to handle heavy radial and moderate thrust loads in both directions.
