Micro Circuit Engineering (MCE) at Tewkesbury specialises in the design, manufacture and test of Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs). Analogue, Digital and Mixed Signal products are produced for new and obsolete applications. In addition, we provide a low risk and cost-effective FPGA to ASIC conversion service. Over 1500 designs have been produced over a 25 year period.
We supply parts to a wide range of markets, including Avionics, Defence, Space, Medical, Industrial and Consumer. Through a combination of in-house manufacture and well established links with high volume assembly houses, MCE offers competitive products from prototypes to mass production.
Other important products and services: Prototype electronic assembly, Packaging of Micro Electronic Mechanical Systems (MEMS), Design and manufacture of Multi Chip Modules (MCMs), Manufacture of avionic databus products, including ARINC 429, Mil-Std-1553B/1760 and Enhanced Bit Rate (10MHz 1553B).
MCE has agents in Germany (Kamaka Electronic GmbH) and in Sweden (Skandinavisk Electronik A/S). Our sister-company in Newmarket specialises in hybrid micro circuits, chip-on board, chip-on flexi and power products.
