Westflex Ltd is pleased to present the TAGBAG range of header bags which are the ideal solution for presenting products on a hanging display. Made entirely from polypropylene, the reinforced header makes them perfect for small, light and/or flat products. The TAGBAG header bag can be manufactured from OPP film 30-40my, Cast PP film 40-120my, or OPP/CastPP laminated with sandwich printing between the two layers of film in order to prevent ink from coming into contact with the product. The header itself can be standard white opaque or fully transparent, and is produced in OPP film 80-135my. A full length inlay or thicker quality film can be used if specially requested. We also supply TAGBAGS with or without a lip and a resealable or permanent self-seal strip. They may also be gusset bottomed and come complete with a punch for Euroholes or ventilation holes. Made from either transparent biaxial orientated polypropylene film (OPP) or non-orientated polypropylene film (CastPP), our poly bags are the ultra-versatile range. OPP is chosen for its transparency and glossy finish, making it suitable for light and flat products such as gifts, greeting cards, stationery and confectionary. OPP film comes in thicknesses of 25, 30 and 40 micron. CastPP film, with a thickness of between 30 and 120 micron, is stronger and therefore typically used for heavier products. Both kinds of PP bags may be produced in different versions and in a variety of sizes. PP bags can be printed in up to 8 colours with a thermal transfer print for displaying EAN-codes or logos, and come provided with a punch for Euroholes or ventilation holes.

We offer a range of top-quality, custom-made shrink sleeves which are used primarily as tamper evident seals for containers and as decoration/information labels on cans and bottles. With a strong mono-axial shrink, they offer excellent product protection and presentation, and since they can be custom made, cut and collated, Westflex's shrink sleeves are tailored for your application. Produced from PET or PVC, our shrink sleeves come in thicknesses varying from 40 to 70my. They can be supplied on a reel with tear-strips and/or perforations, and can be printed in 8 different colours using flexo, gravure or digital processes.

Flowrap bags feature a crimp seal at the base and an overlap seal on the back. They are made from OPP coextruded film and are available without or without side gussets. These strong, transparent CPP envelopes are used primarily for postal applications. Envelope bags may have squared, angled/bevelled flaps (open or closed), depending on preference. Self sealing tapes (resealable or permanent) are also available. Envelope bag format options include thermal transfer printing, hot stamp printing and multi-colour printing (maximum of eight colours, flexographic or rotogravure). Westflex offers a complete range of products manufactured using environmentally friendly BioPLAx PLA films. These materials are 100% compostable and are produced from renewable and sustainable vegetable-based materials such as maize and sugar cane. BioPLAx complies with European composting standard EH13432, as well as the US equivalent, ASTM D6400. Westflex is also now able to offer its Flowrap and Block Bottom style bags in Natureflex, a fully compostable and bio-degradable regenerated cellulose film.
