Sarbin Solutions Ltd is a specialist company providing technical training services to the electronics industry. Established in 2003, Sarbin Solutions Ltd offers specially designed training courses to clients throughout the UK. Our training consultant is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is a certified IPC Trainer with many years of training experience as well as experience within the electronics test/repair and manufacturing sectors of the industry. Training is provided on-site for internationally recognised IPC standards in acceptance of electronic assemblies and cable harnesses.

Assembly Skills

Our two-day bespoke assembly skills training course provides students with the skills necessary to successfully manufacture various wiring assemblies. The course comprises theory and practical work in the following areas:

  • Cable looming
  • Terminal crimping
  • Understanding wiring diagrams
  • Terminal soldering
  • Wire splices
  • Wire harnesses
  • Strain relief

Topics within the course are fine-tuned to meet specific requirements of your business. Students are taught to complete assembly tasks to a standard meet the requirements of the IPC/WHMA-A-620 specification. IPC training certification is awarded in the following areas: Wiring harness assembly methods and Introduction to wire crimping.

Soldering

Our two-day soldering course is structured to provide students with the skills, techniques and knowledge to solder correctly and safely. We tailor our soldering courses to meet specific requirements of your business for the best possible results. Training is provided at your own facility and we advise on using your own equipment so that students will be familiarised and competent using it once the course is completed. Equipment can, however, be provided on request. Our soldering training course covers theory and practical sessions and on completion of the course, a soldering assessment will be carried out to an equivalent of IPC-A610 standard at class 2. Certificates will be awarded to all students who successfully complete the course.
