Franklin Windows have just been granted a UK patent (GB2398336) for their unique composite window and door system. The company has long been associated with some of the finest windows, doors and conservatories in the UK and these have been recognised by a number of awards at the annual Glassex Conservatory Design Competition. The composite window and door system is unique in that it has been designed to ensure that no moisture reaches the internal timber. This has been achieved by incorporating a thermal break and upstand before the glazing chamber to maximise performance and longevity.
