Limestone

Limestone is an attractive, hardwearing material that has become a very popular choice for both traditional and contemporary décors because of the many shades and finishes available. Pure Limestone is almost white, but impurities caused by clay, sand and other materials mean it is found in a range of colours from pure creamy white to black. Applestone

Applstone, a soft, creamy type of Limestone with subtle, smoky veining like the core of an apple, is unique to one quarry in Turkey and Boniti is one of the few natural stone suppliers able to provide it in this country. As well as being elegant, hardwearing and surprisingly affordable, Applestone is highly versatile in its appearance: light in colour but warm in feel, it’s perfect for both contemporary and traditional interiors. Basalt & Granite

Basalt is a hard, fine-grained volcanic rock that has a very consistent colour (usually grey to black). This makes it ideal for creating a contemporary look both inside and out. Granite, meanwhile, is one of the toughest and most hardwearing natural materials around, and unlike basalt comes in a range of colours – this makes it an extremely popular and versatile stone. Travertine

Travertine is a compact variety of Limestone characterised by naturally occurring pitted holes and troughs in its surface – these are often filled with grout to give a smoother finish. When pure, Travertine is white, but like all forms of Limestone it can take on a variety of colours and hues caused by impurities such as clay and sand. Slate & Marble

Slate is a fine-grained metamorphic rock formed under extreme pressure and heat within the layers of the earth. Used for centuries in the production of roof tiles, flooring and walling, Slate has become ever more popular in homes in recent times due to its durability and the diversity of colours and shades available. 

Marble is also a metamorphic rock, but created under extreme heat and pressure from Limestone. It comes in a wide variety of colours from pure white through to black, and is characterised by naturally occurring veins and shade variations. Marble is an enduringly popular material for inside and out.

Boniti can offer a great selection of British stone from all four corners of the island. Timber Flooring

Boniti can offer a full range of timber flooring boards made from ash, cherry, maple, oak, jatoba, merbau and walnut. All of our materials are sourced from tried and tested suppliers who implement strict quality control procedures and who only source timber from carefully managed forests. Boniti timber flooring is stored in humidity-controlled warehouses to minimise the acclimatisation time required onsite. Stone Fixant & Products

Boniti supplies a range of fixants and sealing products suitable for use with our natural stone and slate. They include:

• Lithofin sealer – formulated to protect indoor stone, strengthen surfaces and enhance colour. Also adds a glossy finish.
• Weber adhesives – a range of flexible, fast-curing, cement-based tile adhesives designed for indoor and outdoor use. 
• Weber floor and wall grout – suitable for wet and dry conditions and ideal for grouting natural stone and slate. 
• Ditra matting – supplied in 30m² rolls. 
• Johnsons Mop and Shine – a useful cleaner for natural stone surfaces.
