Miller
Weblift is committed to providing the highest quality, complete and
practical lifting and load restraint solutions to the industry. We are a
subsidiary of the Unitex Group of Companies, a multi-faceted international
manufacturing company with real pedigree in the lifting industry.
This
means we have the facilities to control all aspects of the production
process, from raw polyester yarn to the finished article. This gives us
the utmost confidence in the quality of the raw materials we use to
manufacture our equipment. We even share a site with our webbing supplier,
meaning we can quickly react to customers orders. Our manufacturing
operation is based in Staffordshire, and is ideally positioned to serve
the UK, European and Worldwide markets with the products that you need. We
believe firmly in providing customers with the safest, most reliable and
cost-effective lifting and lashing equipment.
One
of our recent projects included working with London Underground engineers
to develop a crash/debris net that enables essential maintenance on the
253 miles of line whilst trains are running. The nets we developed are
treated with a special flame retardant chemical, enabling weld equipment
to be used safely and confidently. Thanks to Miller Weblift, London
Underground engineers are kept safe while the City continues its busy
existence. |

Web
Slings
Web
slings are general purpose flat slings that are constructed using 100%
heavy-duty polyester webbing. Web slings are lightweight, have excellent
elongation properties in comparison with nylon counterparts, and are less
likely to scratch or damage the load. What's more, they are far more
resistant to mildew and bacteria growth than alternatives. These slings
are suited for use in chocker, vertical and basket hitches. We supply 1-10T
slings that are readily available from our stock, but we can also
manufacture larger slings to meet your specifications if required. Wear
sleeves can also be fitted to improve the lifecycle of the slings, and
hardware end fittings are optional extras. |

Round
Slings
Round
slings are the most versatile slings we have developed to date and are
constructed with high tenacity polyester fibres which are protected by a
robust and resilient polyester cover. Round slings are perfect if you
require greater flexibility than standard chain and wire options -
moulding to irregular loads and lifting very low weight to length ratio
pieces is made easy with round slings. Like web slings, 1-10T slings are
available from our stock, though larger sizes can be manufactured to suit
your needs. Hardware end fittings are optional extras, and wear sleeves
can be fitted if required to improve the sling's durability. |

Cargo
Nets
Miller
Weblift's cargo nets are tailor-made to meet our customers' specific
needs. Nets are available manufactured from both polypropylene and
polyester webbing. We supply cargo nets to multiple industries, including
the commercial vehicle and aircraft industries. Our nets are of such
quality that even Defence industries use them. Because they are so
versatile, our nets can be used for more than just lifting. Our nets are
often used for a range of other applications, including crash/debris or
barrier protection. Cargo nets are available with various end fittings and
in various colours depending on the order quantity. Nets are also finished
with a flame retardant and water repellent chemical. |

Load
Restraint
Our
load restraint systems are manufactured using 100% polyester webbing, and
are available in a variety lengths, widths and colours. A multitude of
hardware fittings means our load restraints satisfy a diverse range of
applications, including boat, truck, rail, in-plant logistics and cargo
management. A long ratchet handle allows easy use and maximum tensioning
with minimal force. Wear sleeves may also be fitted to improve the product's
lifecycle. All load restraints are manufactured to the very latest
approved standards. |
