GreenSpec is an internet-based resource providing building designers with information about designing and specifying with sustainable products and materials. Along with a large compendium of ‘green’ products currently available in the UK, GreenSpec also provides a wide range of design guides varying from materials comparisons and briefings through to building design to meet with the latest standards and best practice.
GreenSpec is currently working in association with the AECB in the Carbon Trust funded ‘Carbon Lite Programme’. This programme aims to provide better means of delivering low and zero carbon buildings.
