TOMCAT Global manufactures its own range of mass produced, high strength, high quality aluminium trussing for use in the touring production and theatrical business sector. As a Global Company we employ around 200 people worldwide, with manufacturing and distribution sites in Texas, Mexico, Las Vegas, Nashville, and two manufacturing sites in the UK, at Bromborough, Wirral and Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
While the manufacture of portable outdoor roof systems was one of our company’s early successes, TOMCAT has been fortunate to manufacture staging and lighting support systems for some of the biggest names in rock-and-roll. Through to projects for Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, U2, Metallica, Robbie Williams and others.
We are a Master Global Distributor for the US based lifting equipment manufacturer Columbus McKinnon (CM), and distribute more CM Entertainment Lodestar electric chain hoists than any other company worldwide. We also distribute the Verlinde range of industrial lifting equipment.

One of the keys to TOMCAT’s success with custom projects is a fully staffed in-house engineering department who work with customers, designers and consulting engineering firms to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Our in house design and engineering department can offer you assistance with specialist design and manufacture in both Carbon Steel and Aluminum Alloy. This assistance extends to site visits, customer meetings and structural analysis of your bespoke lifting/handling products.
