ASM (Accessories) was formed in 1950 to manufacture tubular steel products for own design equipment and specified design by leading motor industries.
In the early 1960's a change of direction lead to sub-contract work being undertaken for Hospital equipment and Disabled personal care products. By 1982 the Company had designed and manufactured its own range of patient care products. Since then the product range has continually expanded and is sold to Health Authorities and Social Services departments throughout the United Kingdom, as well as members of the general public.
The products are designed to meet the needs of the elderly and disabled in their own homes. The product range includes Bathing and Shower care, Bedroom aids, Toileting support systems, Commodes, Chairs, Stools, Footstools, and Trolleys. The company also manufactures a more 'specialised' range of equipment to transfer the more disabled patient from bed to bath/shower/toilet - the Multi-system 2000, Sutton shower cradle and Aquability toilet/shower chairs. ASM are also National Dealers for the Oxford Hoist range of products.
