Team Leader Training Course

Our Team Leader Training course is a 3-day programme aimed at developing the management skills, front line practices and team competencies needed to simultaneously deal with day-to-day operating pressures and fulfil improvement objectives. The course is designed to help managers establish new ways of working that can raise productivity, improve process effectiveness and address the root causes of operational firefighting. Team Leader Training is held at the Power Panels factory in Walsall, where participants can see firsthand what it takes to translate Lean, TPM and Six Sigma concepts into business benefits.

Maintenance Prevention

DAK’s Maintenance Prevention (MP) workshop helps participants to understand exactly what is meant by Maintenance Prevention, why it is important and how MP principles can be applied. It shows them how to collate and structure current knowledge and best practice in order to improve equipment design decisions; to analyse existing and proposed equipment to identify MP weaknesses and improve future design specifications; to incorporate MP standards and checklists into equipment specification, procurement and implementation programmes in order to reduce life cycle costs; and to develop customised plans for implementing MP principles and techniques into current project management/capital project processes. Facilities Management

Our Facilities Management course shows participants how to organise and manage a facilities department as a successful “business within a business”. The objective is to help you run your facilities in a more effective and efficient way, integrating function, people and place. Delegates will learn the basic elements of facilities management, how to draw up a maintenance concept and maintenance plan, how to implement and use Facility Management Information Systems (FMIS), and how to monitor performance and improve results.
