Plastic Forming We offer an expert plastic forming service which helps designers overcome a number of production issues. We can easily justify tooling, so even if you need a short-run product, we'll take it on. Small quantities make no difference to us, nor do they make much difference to the cost of your batches. We use a number of methods for accurate plastic forming, including drape moulding and line bending. Drape moulding is particularly useful for larger components with thick sections, as well as tubular or conical structures. We constantly refine our techniques so that our customers always receive high quality plastic mouldings. Because we now form exotic plastics, Bray is able to provide the solutions to many design problems. These materials require specialist knowledge before machining and processing - Bray has it in abundance! 30 years worth of plastic fabrication experience has taught us a lot, and we're pleased to be able to offer this expertise to every one of our customers.
Vacuum Forming Bray Imaging Technologies also have vacuum forming facilities at our disposal. This process is just as cost-effective as standard forming because we can produce our own tools extremely quickly. Volume is therefore of no issue: prototypes and small production runs will not cost you a fortune and can be turned around in no time. We vacuum form a range of thermoplastic materials, giving you a wider variety of choice in terms of plastic properties.
