Our transparent packaging is produced in the most appropriate material for your product's physical and presentational requirements. Crisp transparency of excellent clarity is available with recyclable PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic, while PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is suitable for direct food contact and can be softcreased for easier carton folding. PP (polypropylene) is embossable and can offer a gloss or matt finished look.
Several types of printing techniques are available on Clear Packaging as are foil blocking and embossing . Silkscreen is the most cost-effective type of printing for small runs and simple designs, while Flexo print is suitable for high volume runs of simple print. For more sophisticated graphics, we offer Litho print for high quality complicated designs and Gravure for high volume printing of intricate designs.

Transparent boxes, also referred to as acetate cartons, are suitable for packing a wide variety of products across many industries. The packaging can be furnished plain or printed silkscreen or litho.
Packaging can be made for direct or indirect food contact as required. A wide variety of distinctive design shapes can be achieved; for example, pillowpack can be easily adapted to include a Eurohanger and provides a cost-effective, unusual shape when filled.

Many different styles of boxes can be produced, depending upon the properties of the product. Opposite tuck-in ends offer simplicity in packing, while tamper-proof packaging can be achieved with butterfly or D-locks. Envelope base can be a cost-effective choice for small quantity production. If you need to package large items quickly, crashlock base is perfect, as the base is completely erected when the box is still folded.
Applications for this type of packaging include DIY and tools, FMCG, gifts, clothing and textile, and promotional products.

Printable in up to six colours, transparent presentational packaging is ideal for promoting your product on the shelf. It can be thermoformed to produce attractive shapes and integral product trays, or formed into clear plastic drums of diameters up to 200 mm with beaded ends or cardboard bases for stability and strength. Foil blocking and engraving can be used, or print images can be produced directly on the packaging in silkscreen, flexo, litho and gravure.

PVC is clear and suitable for direct food contact. With larger quantities of boxes, we can offer a soft crease to enable easier packaging. Many closure options are available, such as tuck-in ends and postal locks. We use the most appropriate material thicknesses to provide the perfect balance of optimum visual clarity and structural strength when developing packaging for your products.

Transparent PVC tubes, suitable for direct food contact if required, are available in diameters ranging from 20 mm to 200 mm and any length to suit your product. Bespoke vacuum forming can cradle the product in place inside the tube. Standard end closures include glue-on bases, welded ends or cardboard end discs. Moulded coloured plugs to differentiate your product from those around it are also available. Tubes can be provided plain or with printed silkscreen, litho, gravure or flexo print.
Suitable applications include packaging for food & drink, confectionary, stationery, cosmetics and promotional items.

We can make many types of transparent boxes. A recent example of our innovative packaging is a clear carton for packing and displaying spirit and wine bottles on the shelf. The package has a self-assembling crash-lock bottom and a clever integral top which opens to full width when pulled up so the bottle can be inserted. When the top is pushed down, it locks into place and securely closes the pack.
