- CAN in API - We are able to provide fully functional CAN bus messaging from the new NovAtel OEMV-3 high performance GPS engine.
The new CAN protocol has a PC configuration tool for setting-up the GPS card. The user will also be able to command CAN output from third party CAN devices.
Configured GPS receivers operate without user intervention. The CAN interface is by direct connection to two CAN ports with data rates of up to 1Mbit/sec.
- CPUPak-4 - The CPUPak-4 features an on-board 80586 PC processor that allows the CPUPak-4 to be a versatile and powerful navigation product in a rugged enclosure. The PC enables custom made applications to be installed and run via several operating systems including Windows NT4, Windows NT embedded, Windows CE and Linux. This means the user has many choices depending on the application for example the use of OmniSTAR's DGPS service, the ability to provide attitude and functionality and the option to run bespoke software direct from the CPUPak-4 platform that could reduce development costs.
- CPUPak-ADS - A precise attitude determination system in a weatherproof rugged peli-caseTM . CPUPak-ADS provides attitude determination for two antenna positions in relation to a master antenna. With outside connections for three antennae, PDA serial connector and a power supply the case can be closed during operation to enable the system to be used in harsh environments.
The PDA is contained within a weatherproof OtterboxTM protective case with serial connection to the
CPUPak for remote use.
- Forsberg
- FS-M4 Micro - Complete 8051 processor system
in a small footprint module. By using
multi layer PCB technology it has been
possible to offer all the key components
of a high performance embedded system
on a very small board.
- Heading Dev. Kit - Many applications require heading information and GPS can often be the natural choice as it compliments other components within a system. The development kit can be used with NovAtel OEMV-2-L1 or L1/L2 receivers. The package is ready to go with input DC power between 9-18V. The development kit accepts two OEMV-2 or OEM4-G2L cards and has an onboard micro-controller. The micro-controller has sample code to determine heading and pitch or roll. This combination is a development project by-product and is of a high standard.
