Asgard manufacture precision CNC "swiss" machined components between 1mm and 65mm
diameter. The most modern CNC Sliding Head lathes from
Star are used, with 16mm, 20mm and 32mm capacity, and for the larger components up to 60mm
diameter, a new Doosan Puma Turning Centre.
All CNC machines have cross drilling and milling capability, and all have sub spindles so the parts come off fully finished and complete.
CNC turned parts to within 10 micron tolerances, manufacturing in all the stainless steels (including the aerospace and medical grades) and inconel. Many of our medical
components are Titanium.

We have a CNC Visual measuring system - accurate to 2microns and fully programmable. In October 2005 we added a Laser Micrometer, accurate to 0.15microns which adds to the speed and accuracy of our very fine limit measurement.
With every batch of your parts - components or subassemblies - a full inspection report with SPC data on any dimension (or series of dimensions) you
need can be provided.

- The F40 collet sleeve enables the machine to
manufacture components up to 36mm in diameter.
- Doosan Puma 240MSB Turning Centre
- Puma horizontal turning centres are designed for heavy cutting, high accuracy and increased
productivity.
- Feeding up to 65mm material through the spindle, the Puma 240 MSB is an ideal complement to the sliding head lathes
at Asgard.
