Cowls

We offer an extensive selection of cowls to suit any fuel system:

• Aspirotor with spinning turbine head to alleviate down-draughts; suitable for all fuel systems

• Aerodyne Cowl with Venturi shaped surfaces that draw smoke and fumes up the chimney; suitable for solid fuel systems

• Bonnet Cowl with optional birdguard; designed for dead or solid fuel systems

• Lobster Back Cowl in two models; universal and standard

• New Stealth Cowl, designed as an alternative to Lobster Back Cowl, combines benefits of a swivel cowl and a sleek profile for solid fuel systems

• Windmaster Cowl in aluminium or stainless steel; ensures constant up-draught regardless of wind direction or speed in multi-fuel systems

Birdguards

We supply a wide ranges of Birdguards that alleviate the nuisance and damage caused by birds, leaves or other debris. Some models include rain caps that substantially reduce rain entry and the risk of structural damage caused by the freeze and thaw cycle.

Our Birdguards are supplied fully assembled and are easy to fit. They include round, square, balloon-type and Cone Top Birdguards. We also supply special Birdguards in stainless steel for small flues or with sleeves for bespoke applications.

Chimney Fans

Whether you are faced with the problem of a chimney that is too long, too short, contorted or too exposed, or a fireplace that is too large or too small, our Brewer Electric Chimney Fan is guaranteed to provide an effective up-draught at all times while only consuming roughly the same amount of power as a lightbulb.

The Brewer Electric Chimney Fan is available in sizes to suit any application from small domestic fireplaces to feature inglenook fireplaces or log burners in commercial establishments, and is suitable for all fuels including gas. It can be mounted vertically like a chimney pot or horizontally through the wall, and offers the added benefit of providing ventilation during warm weather when the fire is not lit.

Cappers

We offer strap and hook chimney cappers that help solve the problem of water ingress to dead chimneys and the subsequent costly structural damage this can cause. The Brewer Chimney Capper is easy to fit and prevents the entry of rain, birds and debris while at the same time allowing the nominal ventilation that is essential in dead chimneys. 

The Brewer Traditional Rain Cap uses the same top as the Chimney Capper but is raised above the lip of the pot by legs. It facilitates the exhaust of smoke and fumes from solid fuel appliances while still providing some protection from the elements.
