Company Description

We are small-to-medium volume specialist suppliers of bespoke and stock elastomeric solutions for a wide range of industries including engineering, marine, health, automotive and autosport, food and beverage, transportation, aerospace and defence (MOD). Our directors, Martin Bailey and Jon Fisher, have over fifty years of combined experience in elastomeric product design and manufacture. We offer a vast range of products from cut gaskets and safety mats to complex moulded components and high performance shaft seals. We are able to supply any volume from prototype to full production runs and continuous supply, with overnight delivery times and dates to suit your requirements. Anti-vibration Pads & Mounts We offer Tico-type anti-vibration pad materials for general purpose machinery and plant mounting. This material has the resilience of cork and the mechanical properties of a chloroprene/nitrile rubber binder. It has for many decades been recognised as an economical and highly effective way to reduce machinery vibration and noise, and is especially suitable for applications such as compressors, air-conditioners, conveyors, pumps, fans, presses, generators, drills and lathes to name but a few. Pads are available in thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 25mm, in dimensions up to 1 metre square. Pad size is determined by the loading and vibration frequency. We are happy to provide technical advice at installation if required.
Cable Protectors Rubber cable protectors play a major role in maintaining a safe working environment by helping to prevent trips and falls caused by loose cables, leads and hoses. Our wide range of cable protectors can help you comply with Health and Safety regulations, enhance workplace safety and maintain a tidy workplace. We offer a range of bore sizes, in lengths from 3 metres upwards, that are suitable for leads as small as internal phone and computer lines all the way up to major power cables at construction sites. Next-day delivery throughout the UK is normally available.
Cut Strip We can provide virtually any size of sheet rubber or foam cut strip. We stock a wide range of material, including most commercial grades of rubber such as Natural, Nitrile, Neoprene, Silicon, Viton and EPDM. Rolls are generally 1.4m wide, and depending upon thickness, up to 20 metres long. Thicknesses range from 0.5mm to 25mm. BS specification grades of natural rubber, Neoprene and Nitrile up to 6mm thick are also available. We offer Neoprene, PVC/Nitrile, EPDM and silicone foam. Self-adhesive backings are available. The normal roll size is 1 metre wide, and thicknesses range from 1.5mm to 25mm. We can also provide filter and open-cell reticulated foams.
Expanded Foams (Open / Closed Cell) We offer a comprehensive range of closed cell and open cell expanded foams. Closed cell choices include Expanded Neoprene, PVC/Nitrile, EPDM, Low Density Polyethylenes and Silicone with optional adhesive backing. These are normally in 2m x 1m sheets or 10m x 1m rolls. Thicknesses between 1.5mm and 25mm are available from stock, and we can order other sizes as required. We also supply open-cell Polyether/polyurethane reticulated and filter foams. We can provide all these materials cut into any size strip or pad as required as well as punched gaskets, washers and other pre-determined shapes. We can offer CNC production methods for larger volumes. Where conventional cutting techniques are not appropriate, we can also utilise a highly economical water-jet facility for cutting.
Cork & Rubber-Bonded Cork We offer cork of various grades in strips, rolls, sheets or punched to your specific requirements. Cork is normally bonded with nitrile/chloroprene rubbers and is frequently used for gasket applications including electrical switchgear, transformers and automotive use. It is particularly suitable in cases where lower bolt loadings are required. We offer gasket grades in thicknesses from 0.8mm to 6mm. Electrical Safety Matting Electrical safety matting is specifically designed to provide protection from electric shock in front of switchboards and high voltage equipment. It should be used to provide staff safety in any area where there is a risk of electric shock. We provide the most competitive pricing in the UK on certificated matting, with three specifications to choose from: Black 450V protection (tested to 11,000V) 6mm thick, Black 650V protection (tested to 15,000V) 9.5mm thick BS921 Grey 30000V protection (tested to 45000V) 4.5mm thick VDE0303 Available widths are 914mm (3ft), 1000mm and 1220mm (4ft). We can provide any length from a metre to a full roll from stock. All safety matting has a ribbed non-slip finish.
Gaskets We offer pinched, cut, waterjet and laser-cut gaskets suitable for manufacturing and general engineering use in virtually all industries, with short lead times whether your requirements be for a one-off order, a large quantity or continuous production supplies. Our extensive stocks of commercial and BS specification grade material include: Bonded Cork (Nebar) CNAF & Graphite Expanded Foams (open & closed cell) Fluorocarbon (Viton) Insertion Rubbers Natural Neoprene Nitrile PTFE & Plastics Silicone
Rubber Extrusions We stock hundreds of the most common rubber extrusion profiles, including: Angle rubbers Channel/Edging; square and U-section Cord - 1mm to 25mm diameter Sponge cord from 1.5mm diameter to 50mm Door & Glazing seals Inflatable Seals - standard profiles in silicone D-sections & Fendering P-sections T-sections Tubing - 1mm to 25mm bore standard range; thousands of size combinations available Materials include Natural/SBR, EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile, Polyurethane, Silicon, Sponges and Viton. BS grades are available to order. If you cannot find the extrusion you require from our vast stock, we can produce a new die for a custom-made section made to your exact specifications. Rubber Fenders We supply a standard range of extruded fenders in black and white made to extremely high standards. These rubber fenders are designed to protect boats, vehicles and buildings from damage in the event of impact. We can also manufacture rubber fenders to suit customer specifications. Rubber PVC Grommets We also provide customers with an extensive range of standard rubber and PVC grommets. Various types are available including open, blind, semi-blind and cable entry from 3mm to 50mm in diameter. Alongside our PVC grommet range we also supply various associated items including moulded feet, bushes, caps, ferrules and self adhesive bumpers, tapered and mushroom plugs and more. Hose & Tubing Our hose and tubing range has been developed to provide customers with a wide range of options. Our high quality rubber extrusions are available in a range of materials such as nitrile, neoprene, silicone, EPDM, Viton and peristaltic. We provide specialist extrusion services to meet customer requirements and can supply specialist grades of hose including suction and delivery, high pressure, food and fuel all to meet industry standards and specifications. We can also manufacture non-standard fabricated hoses including marine exhaust and bespoke silicone manifolds. Rubber Mouldings We are highly experienced in the design and manufacture of bespoke rubber mouldings from tool design and material selection through to prototyping and bulk production.
