Company Description
Lion Industries UK Ltd is an independent supplier of paint spray equipment. Its phrase Power Painting® describes the process of using paint spray equipment and pressure rollers to paint all types of buildings and surface types. Power Painting® is beneficial in lots of ways; it saves time, saves paint, and gives a fine finish. The ultimate benefit of Power Painting® is that it can reduce overall costs and therefore generate greater profits for the businesses. We supply a choice of several top brands which will suit different tastes, purposes and, the important one, budgets of the painter. Our products are suitable for use in many other industries. They can be used for the application of intumescent coatings for fire protection of materials, roof coatings, concrete protection from acid rain, coloured floor paints…you get the idea. If it can be sprayed the chances are we will be able to spray it.

Spraying Decorative Paints

We supply spraying equipment to be used for different purposes:

Commercial buildings: airless paint spray equipment is usually used. The choice of pump and different spray tips must be chosen to suit the paint and the size of the job.

General Purpose: airless pumps to apply all smooth decorative paints from stains to varnishes, through to gloss, primers, acrylics, vinyl emulsions and heavy masonry coatings.

Private Houses: for interior work. A range of accessories include fine-finish spray tips for glossing and a modular pole-gun system to carry a spray head or internally fed roller.

Spraying Specialist Coatings

We supply spraying equipment for various specialist coatings; intumescent coatings (to protect the substrate from heat of fire by foaming up in a fire to form a layer of insulation), multi-colour (an HVLP system (High Volume Low Pressure) for a pronounced feathered edge), roof coatings (spraying covers the whole area easily and thoroughly), line-stripping/road marking (state of the art machines with locking front wheel for perfect straight or curved lines), wood finishes and textured coatings.

Spraying Plaster

It is a relatively new concept for decorators and workmen to use spraying as a method of applying plaster to wall surfaces. It is a particularly useful method for skimming walls to cover fine holes and joins before painting as it is a fast and efficient method. Machines with worm drive pumps are best suited for spraying plaster as they are low pressure with a large spray tip. This type of machine does require a compressor. We supply a range of machines suitable for spraying plaster such as the Graco MkV Proconnect, Graco President 10:1 and the HAMA MC3V. Please see our website for details on product information and types of plaster suitable for spray plastering.

Graco Xtreme King

Spray painting industrial coatings is an easy process and creates a quality finish. Our spray painting products are used to create a uniform finish for difficult to brush coatings, for easier access to hard to reach areas, continuous agitation, mixing of plural component coatings, in-line preheating of coating to improve atomisation and electrostatic can be used to improve transfer efficiency. Amongst our range, we supply the Graco Merkur 40:1, Graco Gmax II 5900HD , Graco II MkV Proconnect and the Graco Xtreme King . If you are ordering from us, we will be happy to spray test samples of your coating to supply the spray pressure and spray tip suited to your requirements.

Foam Insulation Spraying

Benefits of spraying foam include: it has a low U-value, it leaves no air gaps and does not transmit moisture. The PU foam uses two pumps to deliver the two components to the spray gun. Here, they are mixed just before leaving the spray tip. It then foams up within seconds after reaching the surface that is to be insulated. Lion Industries will advise and supply the spray equipment suited to your requirements. We will also train you how to use the equipment and are on hand to answer any user/technical questions you may have from pre-sale to post-sale of our spraying equipment.

Power Painting Accessories

We supply a range of accessories to be used in conjunction with our Power Painting ® equipment. Accessories include; pole-guns and extensions, airless paint rollers, extension poles, spray shields, zip wall, masking tape and film dispensers, paint strainers, breathing masks and spray socks. Our pole-guns and extensions have the spray tip mounted on the end of the extension to reach difficult areas. The spray tip should be mounted on a swivel to allow the spray fan to be as close to the surface as possible at all angles. Different models suit different purposes. Please see our website for production descriptions or contact us for further information.

Pressure Washers

Pressure washers are used for all kinds of purposes; painters tend to use them for cleaning surfaces before painting. For professional use, we supply a range of pressure washers including the Graco G-Force™ range of which we keep in stock. Models include the G-Force 3030, G-Force 3540 and the G-Force 4043. Properties include thermal relief valve to prevent over heating, ceramic pistons for durability, robust design with large wheels for easy transportation, quick hose connection and washer spray-tip storage.

Spray Booths

In work areas where other people are present, such as manufacturing and vehicle body shops, painting with a spray gun must be carried out inside a spray booth. Spray booths must be compliant with PG6/23 (97) and health and safety regulations. We manufacture and supply spray booths to suit your requirements and specifications. For a quote, or for further information, contact us at Lion Industries Ltd with your requirements; enclosed or one open sided booth, dimensions of the booth and the space it is to inhibit, if it is to be heated, and if an outlet chamber is needed.
