Company Description
Where metal thickness is a concern, Tritex NDT provides the ultimate gadget - The Multiple Echo Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge! Tritex NDT understands and recognises the demand for certain industries to be able to gauge metal thickness. Road tankers, for one, are a perfect example as they corrode and erode from the inside out. Regular inspections of metal thickness are therefore an essential task in this field as well as in many other industries world wide.

Back in the 1980s, Tritex NDT saw the need for a solution to the problem of testing metal thickness and pioneered the multiple-echo into hand-held instruments. Today, the Multiple Echo Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is simple and straightforward to use. It effectively checks corrosion levels and measures the thickness of the metal from one side of the metal. There isn’t even any need for removing protective coatings before testing. Nothing could be simpler!

Tritex NDT is at the forefront of technology. Its ultrasonic metal thickness gauges have IPR (Intelligent Probe Recognition), AMVS (Automatic Measurement Verification System) and Coating Plus+.

Tritex NDT prides itself on its commitment to its customers. It recognises the importance of customer care before and after product sales and will endeavour to provide advice and information to ensure the very best customer satisfaction.

Tritex NDT complies with the RoHS and WEEE directives as part of its commitment to respect the environment.

The Multigauge 3000 Underwater Thickness Gauge

The Multigauge 3000 Underwater Thickness Gauge is the ultimate tool for testing metal thickness under water. Used on surfaces such as pilings, pipelines, piers, bridges, offshore platforms, lock gates and ships, the Multigauge Underwater Thickness Gauge has many advantages; metal surface coatings do not need to be removed for testing, its bright LED display is perfect for use in poor visibility underwater, and measurements taken underwater can easily be transferred to the surface via the optional topside repeater.

This robust ultrasonic gauge is pressure tested to depths of 500 meters and is equipped with IPR (Intelligent Probe Recognition) to ensure only accurate measurements are displayed.

The Multigauge 4000 ROV

The Multigauge 4000 range is designed to be mounted on all types of remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV). The 4100 model is pressure tested to depths of 1000m and the 4400 model has a depth rating of 4000 metres.

Equipped with IPR, the Multigauge 4000 range uses multiple-echo technology eliminating the need to remove surface coatings before testing. The Multigauge 4000 is simple to use and connects to most
ROV's with ease. Both gauges have been designed and tested to withstand the harshest of offshore and underwater conditions.

The Multigauge 5500

Tritex NDT has thought of everything! The Multigauge 5500 is the hands free solution for measuring metal thickness. For use when climbing on tricky obstacles such as scaffolding and ladders, or maybe if you are being held by a harness or anything similar, the Multigauge 5500 measures metal thickness easily and efficiently.

The Multigauge 5500 has a number of benefits for hands free use. The device can be easily mounted to chest harness straps to ensure it is held securely in place. Its unique mounting system ensures that the ultrasonic thickness gauge always hangs vertically so it is easy to read. Its bright LED display creates clear screen visibility in all conditions and the probe cable socket has been mounted on top of the gauge so that it can be easily stored in a top pocket, or around the back of the neck, between measurements.

The Multigauge 5600

The handheld Multigauge 5600 is the ultimate, versatile gadget for measuring the thickness of metal in a variety of industries. Its design is simple and dynamic, its keypad is easy to use, and it hosts a bright LCD display for ultimate screen visibility in all lighting conditions. The Multigauge 5600 is the answer to thickness testing of metal applications in a variety of industries where metal corrosion may occur and pose a problem.
