Switch technology specialist and supplying many customer-specific solutions in the field of electro-mechanical switchgear. 

    The solutions often concern situations where standard switches are not satisfactory or where standard switches must be adapted to meet customer requirements. 

    Our own Development department for the development of switches has competence in both electrical and mechanics, as well as a combination of both. The developments are manufactured by ourselves, often by the fitting shop which gives us unique combination of theory and practice.

    Our branches are in each of these countries, namely Santon Holland bv, Santon Switchgear Ltd. and Santon GmbH. Each of them are part of Santon Group bv. The head office of Santon which is located in Rotterdam, The Netherlands deals with development, manufacturing, and purchasing of materials.

  • Citadel: robust plastic enclosure (Atex 21&22, IP65-IP69, 300°C/1h) - References in train sector, cement industry, steel/aluminium industry, food industry, coal mines, (nuclear) power plants, shipbuilding industry, marine sector, offshore, tunnel building industry, etc.
  • IP65 plastic enclosures - AC current from 10 up to 2000Ampères, and up to 660Volt AC 
  • Somerton: steel enclosures - Standard switch ranges: 16A, 25A, 40A, 63A, 100A, 200A, 300A, 500A 
  • Silios: solar switches in enclosures - Santon DC switches, from 16A up to 1000A, and up to 1000V DC 
• Circuit breakers 
  • Conversion sets old circuit breakers - Exchange time 2 to 4 hours, for Retractable sets only a few minutes, conversion sets from 630 up to 6300A 
  • Circuit breaker service and overhaul - Circuit breaker service for installing, commissioning, maintenance, etc.
