High Density and Mixed Assembly Services
Gemini Tec works closely with its clients to offer prototype to large batch production high-density PCB assemblies. We have a dedicated MYDATA SMT machine for prototypes, with delivery from 48 hours. We also have a fully automated production line, with 2 high-speed MYDATA machines for higher volume production.
We use the very latest solder jet printing technology to apply solder paste directly onto the PCB. This process ensures the correct amount of solder paste is used, so that errors such as floating devices, shorts and opens are avoided. This process does not use stencils, so there are no expensive tooling costs. It provides high yield products at a lower production cost.

Rapid Delivery Prototype Service
At Gemini Tec we work with speed and precision, meaning that we can design and prototype your PCB assembly extremely quickly.
With our MY500 solder jet printer we no longer need wait for stencils, allowing us to produce
assemblies quickly and accurately. We offer a hand built or machine built service for SMT boards with full AOI inspection to IPC standards.

BGA, Micro BGA and Leadless devices - Assembly & Rework
Gemini Tec offers solutions for manufacturing high-density surface mount, BGA and Leadless
technology products. We utilise a ERSA IR650 technology to place and remove BGA, Leadless, flip-chip and fine pitch devices for prototype and development boards.
Our advanced ERSA placement system enables us to work with large PCB sizes of up to 460mm x 560mm and to build custom thermal data for repeatable placements. This highly controlled and non-destructive process uses IR reflow.

Box Build & Test Services – Full CEM capability
Gemini build & test a wide range of products, in a clean and modern 19000 sq ft ESD controlled environment. Typically these products are complex and require configuration, programming and functional exercise, including the use of XJ-Tag tools. Our experienced test engineers can fault find and remedy any test failures, to ensure a 100% working product prior to delivery.
In addition to cable assemblies, product's can built into enclosures and sub-assemblies and finished packaging prior to shipping or call off.

Because Gemini has been at the forefront of PCB layout and design for over 35 years, we can take on your design through various stages, from schematic capture to final Gerber data generation. Our expertly trained engineers always consult you throughout all the stages of PCB layout, ensuring your requirements are always understood and fulfilled. Gemini Tec possesses specialist purchasing skills and tools on-site allowing us to source the right materials for your products. Our access to a worldwide network of suppliers and manufacturers enables us to offer a huge range of materials from board level components to metal enclosures. We can even source those hard to find components for both RoHS and Non-RoHS applications.

PCB bare board manufacturing
Our PCB Board technologies include rigid and flex-rigid, standard and high layer count multilayer PCB's, HDI PCB products, Flex and Flex rigid PCB's. We also manufacture controlled impedance PCB's using mechanical and laser drilled holes with flat pad technology. If you don't have the technical resources for leading PCB procurement on-site, then you can rely on us to supply first-class bare board PCB's.
