The Stetpack range of oil interceptors includes oily water separation units in three standard types; circular single-stage units, rectangular single-stage units and rectangular two-stage units. They use a corrugated plate for first stage separation and a porous media coalescing material for the second. These basic concepts can be adapted for a wide range of mechanical configurations and process designs, and have been used in oily waste and rainwater run-off streams at power stations, rail yards, transport depots, maintenance depots, industrial sites, waste treatment facilities, oil storage sites and in ship's bilges. Indeed, these versatile yet simple designs can be used in any situation where oil contamination is a problem.

Employing Lamella Plate technology, the Stetmella range includes solids clarification and thickening equipment in a standard format comprising of conical hopper section tanks with internal flow distributors. This basic arrangement can be adapted to suit a variety of mechanical configurations and process designs, meaning these units have been used in a range of applications, including primary settlement of wastewater, final clarification of biologically treated wastewater, electrocoagulation discharge, surface water run-off at industrial sites, drinking water purification and much more. In fact, the Stetfield Stetmella unit can be used in any situation where liquids are contaminated with solids.

Our ultrafiltration units use a low-pressure membrane process for the separation of emulsified oils and suspended/colloidal matter from waste water. The key elements in these units are the modules which incorporate semi-permeable microporous membranes. The water passes through these at a turbulent flow velocity, leaving behind its contaminants without a deposit build-up. Low molecular solutes are recovered as permeate, while emulsified oils and suspended solids are rejected. Our ultrafiltration units have been used for a range of applications, including waste soluble oil disposal, wash water recycle, pigments and printing ink recycling or disposal, paint recovery, and effluent treatment in dairy and pharmaceutical industries.

Used for separating suspended solids from liquid streams in water, sewage and industrial waste, our range of circular rotary clarifiers are based on a simple, tried and tested design. Available in either Bridge Mounted (BM) or Column Mounted (CM) format, circular clarifiers may be supplied for new installations or retrofitted into existing concrete tank structures. They feature heavy duty gearboxes for longer lifecycles, and an efficient drive design ensures optimum performance with lower energy costs.
