The Shalam Group opened its UK manufacturing facility in 2009 in response to the growing demand for high quality, cost-effective containers. At our three-acre site in Basildon, Essex, we have the very latest, state-of-the-art injection moulding machines and toolmaking facilities that enable us to produce standard and bespoke containers extremely quickly and efficiently without ever compromising on quality.
Whatever size or style of container you need, whether for cheese, ice cream, salad, powders, wet wipes or mastic and other building materials, we can provide a bespoke solution. In-Mould Labelling Systems (IML) allow us to incorporate all kinds of logos, imagery, text and dietary/ingredient information. Shalam Packaging has developed an extensive range of containers that are the ideal solution for powder packaging. Our powder packaging range includes a variety of shapes as well as coming in sizes from 400cc to five litres. Powder packaging can be used for products such as chocolate powder, soup powder, powdered milk, baking products and washing detergent. Our containers can come with metal or plastic handles where applicable and are entirely suitable for aluminium and plastic foil. Shalam offers a complete cost-effective in-mould labelling system for customers who wish to incorporate text, images and logos, meaning our containers are ready for immediate use.
The Shalam Packing range includes a diversity of cartridges including H.D.P.E 310ml and 280ml cartridges that can come complete with A,B,C plungers and nozzles. Our cartridge range is offered in plain packaging or customers can take advantage of our specialised printing that includes offset printing with up to five colours. We also offer wraparound labelling as well as a varnished finish. Using our printing processes is a cost-effective alternative to hiring a third party to complete the cartridge printing and labelling. Our customers can specify the finish and labelling they require meaning our cartridges are ready for immediate use once received.
