Company Description
Incorporated in 1990, NICERA EUROPEAN WORKS LIMITED (N.E.W.) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NIPPON CERAMIC CO. LIMITED, Japan, one of the world's largest producers of hi-tech ceramic components. We manufacture pyroelectric infra-red detectors (pyrosensors) at our factory in Southampton, and also distribute products manufactured by NIPPON CERAMIC and sister company, KUNSHAN NICERA ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE CO. LIMITED, China. Having first gained accreditation to ISO 9002:1994 in March 1997, we currently operate to ISO 9001:2000. The transition was completed in January 2003.
