EcoCooling Ltd design, manufacture and install a high-quality, low-energy range of evaporative cooling systems that are used to deliver refreshing cool air in a variety of commercial and industrial buildings. Using just 1.5KW of electricity for every 35KW worth of cool air, our products offer considerable cost advantages over other methods of air conditioning. That’s why more and more businesses are turning to EcoCooling for their climate control solutions. The typical running costs of an EcoCooling evaporative cooling system are around 10% of a standard air conditioning unit. Moreover, the costs of installation are about a quarter of those associated with an air conditioning unit. The short term and long term savings are therefore obvious. In a world where energy costs continue to spiral, it makes sound financial and environmental sense to reduce your consumption levels. EcoCooling ECP systems are the only type of evaporative cooler designed specifically to take into account European health and safety regulations. They are available as down, side or top discharge units, giving you greater flexibility when deciding on installation. Nominal capacity extends to 16 , 000 m 3 /hr. We also have a range of stainless steel mobile units with a nominal capacity of 7,000 m 3 /hr. All of our evaporative cooling systems feature integrated thermostatic controls which may be incorporated into building management systems. EcoCooling makes product quality and customer satisfaction its top priorities, which is why we now offer 2 years fixed warranty on all components. Our systems have been used for all sorts of commercial and industrial environments, from restaurants, bakeries, bars, pubs, launderettes, leisure centres and garden centres, to IT rooms, UPS rooms, server rooms, hospitals, offices, call centres, colleges, schools, warehouses, manufacturing facilities and more. If you would like to find out more about our evaporative cooling systems, just head to the EcoCooling website at www.ecocooling.co.uk. Side discharge evaporative coolers deliver a nominal output of up to 12,000 cubic metres per hour. Based on the standard ECPD EcoCooler, the ECPS unit has a stainless steel fan transmission element in place of one of the side panels. A stainless steel blanking plate is used to seal the existing venturi position. The venting duct can be fixed to either the steel element or to the 600mm internal diameter venture. The standard format of the CREC is a down discharge EcoCooler that is fitted with an attemperation system, however all configurations of side and top discharge units can be accommodated for. These units are designed to be controlled using analogue temperature and pressure sensors which can alter the flow and temperature of the air supply. The attemperation system is used to mix higher temperature exhaust air from the servers with ambient air to produce a constant flow of cool air to the servers. We provide comprehensive support in sizing and installation, so if you have any questions, just get in touch.

Our ECPD units are designed to meet all the European electrical safety specifications and are manufactured in an ISO 9002 quality controlled environment. Made from injection moulded polypropylene, ECPD cabinets are UV stabilised and corrosion free, making them highly resistant to the outside elements. They contain four Munters Celdek honeycomb pads with a total area of 2.3m². A 240V 50Hz electrical supply is required for all types of down discharge units.

ECPT top discharge units deliver a nominal output of around 14,000 cubic meters of air per hour. These are based on the ECPD design but with a stainless steel fan transmission element fitted to the top and a further stainless steel blanking plate that seals the existing venturi position. As with all of our products, ECPT units meet and often exceed the legislation laid down by the European health and safety standard. Wet Boxes may be supplied in top, down and side discharge configurations. These are typically used to pre-cool air before it enters air-handling plant.
At 14,000m3/hr, a down discharge wet box has an air flow resistance of 50Pa. If you would like to find out more about our wet box systems, please head directly to the EcoCooling website.

Internal suspended evaporative coolers provide a useful solution where space is at a premium. A relatively lightweight design means that they can be suspended from the roof of most buildings without structural modifications. They can be quickly installed with minimal disruption, and can also easily be relocated as factory layouts change. ECPSDU systems require a single phase 240V 1.5KW 13A power supply and may be controlled using a wall-mounted interface as individual units or as groups.

Our mobile evaporative cooling units provide a versatile solution for situations where fresh air is required in certain areas for short periods of time. As with all of our systems, ECM units are designed to meet European safety legislation and are manufactured in an ISO 9002 quality controlled environment. Two fixed and two swivel castors allow simple relocation, and a safety brake allows you to lock the cooler in place on arrival.
