CELEBRATING ITS 25TH YEAR OF SERVICE TO INDUSTRY The Biodeterioration Centre, established 1978, performs microbiological analysis and investigations for clients across the globe. The Centre has much experience in studies of biodeterioration of materials, and provides this expertise as part of the Industrial Microbiology module, taught within the University of Hertfordshire, Department of Biosciences. The Centre has held UKAS accreditation for microbiological water testing since 1997, and enjoys valuable working relationships with several Hertfordshire based international pharmaceutical industries.
