Recycling UK Ltd specialises in the purchase and sale of all grades of waste paper and cardboard, in bales, pallets or as loose stock. We are also brokers for baled plastic, as well as damaged and surplus stock reels (printed or unprinted). Formed in 1998, we have quickly grown to become one of Europe’s leaders in the field, with over 25,000 tonnes of paper and plastic traded every month. We've also expanded into other world markets, and have a joint venture with Paperworks India.

Recycling UK Ltd offers its expertise and advice to industrial clients and local authorities, helping them set up recycling schemes and managing the material generated. We provide a total Waste Management advisory service on all types of recyclable waste, and also offer a transport brokerage service.

We are able to trade in one-off bulk loads or 50 loads plus. Because we are so flexible in our operations, loads can be sold to us as frequently or infrequently as you like, whether it's once a week or once a year. Our dedicated commercial team can usually provide an instant quotation, and can make all transport arrangements with our logistics department. Materials

Recycling UK Ltd trades in baled plastics, baled paper and cardboard, and surplus stock reels. We can supply directly to paper mills based in the UK, Europe and China, as well as those in India through our partnership with Paperworks. Waste paper is also sold to UK companies manufacturing bed pans, loft insulation, animal bedding and ceiling tiles. Packaging materials and new or once used cartons can be supplied directly to the secondary market in the UK. Loose materials are also collected and supplied to paper mills.

Paper Grades

In 1999, the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI) compiled the new European standard grade list, which was a revision of the European standard EN643. The grades are categorized into groups, which include low qualities, medium qualities, high qualities, Kraft qualities and Special Qualities. Plastic Grades

Recycling UK Ltd trades in polyethylene (thermoformed sheet, strapping, soft drink bottles), high density polyethylene (bottles, grocery bags, playground equipment, recycling bins, agricultural pipe), PVC (pipe, fencing and non food bottles), low density polyethylene (plastic bags, tubing, moulded lab equipment, dispensing bottles, containers), polypropylene (autoparts and industrial fibres), polystyrene (desk accessories, Cafeteria trays, cups etc), and other resins and multi-materials (garden furniture, traffic bollards, pipes). Our trading and brokerage service includes an instant quotation, arrangement of transport, paperwork, and site visits to determine the grades you have. We can collect materials in pallets or bales from producers using our very own flatbed, curtainside, bulk discharge or container vehicles.
