Container Components Europe Ltd specialises in the supply of plastic lids and accessories for the global waste market. Our products, which are manufactured at plants in the UK and USA, are used by waste container builders and repairers right across the world, as well as by top waste contractors, plastic injection moulding companies and local authorities.
Container Components has been manufacturing plastic lids for containers since 1984. Back then, most containers were made with metal lids, which were often the cause of serious injuries and even fatalities. By producing a range of light but durable plastic alternatives, Container Components has helped to make the waste industry a safer working environment.

We manufacture two types of plastic lid for trade waste containers. The first is the Standard DuraFlex® lid – this is available in various sizes, covering container volumes from 500 litres right up to 1700 litres. The second is the Recycling lid, which is available in the same sizes but can be fitted with a choice of hood- or flap-covered apertures for paper collection, or with brushes/rubber rosettes for the collection of glass, cans and bottles.

Container Components manufactures a full range of conventional top hinged lids for Front End Loaders (FELs). These are available in widths from 837mm to 935mm. We also offer side hinged lids, recycling lids with rubber flaps for paper collection, and side-hinged or sliding doors.
Most lids and doors can be customised with a name plate.
All lids have an integral handle for easy opening and are equipped to accept an automatic lock for security purposes.
We also manufacture Rear End Loader lids and doors. Standard REL lids are available in various different lengths to cover openings up to 2100mm. Overlapping sections ensure complete water-tightness, while a ribbed design allows rainwater to simply run off. The dual-part design of our standard REL lids also means that containers can be partially opened for easy access when required.
