HSW Timber specialises in the supply of timber products. To produce them we use only the highest quality materials sourced from the very best manufacturers, guaranteeing their quality and durability.

Sheet Materials

As a specialist timber supplier, we can offer a huge range of sheet materials in a wide variety of sizes and colours. A comprehensive stock of products means we’re confident of satisfying any requirement. 

• Plywood – WBP and S/G grades, available in 1220mm x 2440mm sheets and a variety of thicknesses. 
• MDF boards – ideal for interior joinery, especially in the manufacture of furniture. Supplied in 1220mm x 2440mm sheets and available in a variety of thicknesses.
•  T&G chipboard flooring – supplied tongued and grooved for ease of installation; often used in loft conversions. Available in 2400mm x 600mm sheets. 
• OSB – a tough, low-cost board ideal for hoarding and shuttering. Available in 1220 x 2440mm sheets and a variety of thicknesses.
• Hardboard – often used as a floor covering and in furniture manufacturing. Available in 1220mm x 2440mm sheets. 
• Pinboard – mostly used as notice boards or display panels. Available in 1220mm x 2440mm sheets. 
• Marine ply – a specially treated plywood designed to resist rotting in marine applications. Available in 1220mm x 2440mm sheets. 

Fencing

Also available are a range of fence panels and posts, featheredge boards and pickets, gravel boards, arris rail and trellis screens. Fencing panels can be cut to size in order to meet your individual requirements. All of our timber fencing products have a natural finish and offer excellent strength and durability.

Decking & Landscaping

We have a range of landscaping products for you to choose from, including complete decking systems with posts, caps, boards and rails. Like all of our timber supplies, HSW landscaping products can be made to specification and are produced using only the finest, sustainably sourced materials. 

• Green oak garage doors, gallows brackets, garden furniture and fencing.
• Traditional and contemporary sheds, manufactured to specification. 
• Complete decking systems from Metsawood, including posts, caps, boards and rails.
• Solid, long-lasting wooden railway sleepers in treated softwood and untreated oak. 
• Machine rounded poles for various landscaping applications. 

Mouldings

At HSW we stock a wide range of softwood, hardwood and MDF mouldings, including skirting boards, dado rails, architrave, hand rails and various decorative products. These are available in a variety of sizes and profiles, and can be finished with varnish, paint or wood stain. Commonly supplied moulding profiles include:
