We pride ourselves on the quality of both our product and our service and have a reputation
for quality and delivery with our customers. We specialise in producing the more complicated
components and tooling for our customers.
We believe that we are leaders in the manufacture of high precision composite components
and tooling and have a unique experience in the high precision machining of composite
parts.
Qualities associated with our work:
Precision and intricacy
We routinely work to tolerances of +/- 0.02mm. We have recently been awarded a large
project, based on previous work for the same customer, involving the manufacture of high
precision composite parts made from aluminium tooling. These parts fit together to form a
complete assembly containing several moving, concentric composite parts. When working
with the most complex 3d shapes – Retrac have unrivalled experience
Design and advanced composites engineering
Our highly skilled staff employ the most advanced design software including CATIA V5 and
DELCAM. The cutting edge nature of our projects means that we are continually pushing the
boundaries in the design and development of composite technology solutions.
Experienced skilled workforce
We have a low turnover of staff and possess the most experienced skilled workforce in
advanced composite technology in Europe. This is a product of two decades of experience
with a significant ongoing investment in staff training.
Speed of delivery and discretion
Our staff work in shifts enabling us to work to the shortest lead times. Our work in F1 is
subject to stringent non-disclosure agreements – as has previous MOD work we have
undertaken.
Client base
Our customer base in the world of motorsport and automotive engineering – is unparalleled –
we have worked for 10 F1 teams – and we are now actively seeking to extend our customer
base in the aerospace market with a proven advanced composite technology solution.
Whilst both companies have been supplying the aerospace market in a limited capacity for
some time – we have worked hard to further extend our facilities in order to align ourselves
more closely to the future needs of aerospace industries
