Founded in 1845, August Mink KG - the parent company of Mink-Brushes UK Ltd - has
300 employees and is one of the world’s biggest manufacturer of technical brushes and
a market leader in bristle tuft technology.
Mink has been a trendsetter when it comes to developing important
innovative ideas. Each year over 6 million technical brushes in over 180,000 different designs
are currently manufactured for about 15,000 customers. There are almost no
limits to the wide range of possible applications.
Mink brushes are used, for
example, to remove dust on car parts before these are painted. Mink brushes for
stillages keep kitchen components free from scratches and help minimize scrap.
Newspapers are folded by Mink brushes. Sealing of doors and gates with flexible
strip brushes from Mink protect against draughts, dirt or bad odour.
The Mink-Brushes UK Ltd subsidiary was
established in Coventry in September 2001 to
give added support to UK
and Irish customers. Turnover and the customer base have quadrupled since then.
Important sectors include automotive, aerospace, printing, packaging, food
processing and the sheet metal industry. Mink in fact supplies all kinds of
manufacturing sites which seek to improve production performance and quality.
