Here at SIV we have recently developed our
services to include a drylining division. Launched in 2011, this division
enables us to undertake both fire protection and drylining contracts as an efficient
solution for many of our clients. We recognised the demand for this service and
developed the business so that customers could benefit from both types of
service from the same company. This leads to cost benefits as well as the
customer receiving services on time within an agreed budget. Our knowledge of
the Building Regulations Part B, E, and L alongside our extensive knowledge of
passive fire protection enables us to to provide customers with a first-class

SIV Fire Protection also provides an intumescent
coatings service for the protection of internal, semi-exposed or fully exposed
steel building structures against fire. When the intumescent coating is exposed
to heat it reacts to form an insulating layer of foam which acts as a barrier
to protect the steel below. The barrier is designed to keep the temperature of
the steel below 550 degrees. This specialist service is carried out by highly
