SS2i provides scientific service measurements out of Nottingham Trent Universtity. We provide instrument time with technician time on various instruments and can also allow your staff to work on our instruments. We provide rapid and quality service and are continually expanding our portfolio of equipment.
The equipment is a mixture of pool and research instruments, some of which are very new. We provide a reliable and reproducable service.
Our microscopy equipment includes a transmission electron microscope, a scanning electron microscope and confocal microscopes. We also have access to an MRI scanner.
Our biologists provide ELISA measurements and support, microbacterial tests and more.
Chemical tests we can undertake include ICP elemental analysis, EDX elemental analysis in the SEM and TEM, standard spectroscopic tests, and X-ray diffraction in powder and single crystal.
