Coldkit, a national manufacturer with a factory in Nelas/Viseu since 1992, is a clear market leader and has installed thousands of its rooms throughout the country, through the most important distributors in the country. Centralised logistics and the capacity for carrying out a complex project and complete installation in just over a week complement the service offered and the very competitive prices.
Chosen internationally for prestigious events like the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 and for the modern T4 airport in Madrid, in Portugal Coldkit has equipped hundreds of hotels and restaurants. And recently, our rooms were used at "Rock in Rio 2006".
In addition, the modern new Lisbon Casino, at the Expo 98 site, is equipped with Coldkit rooms. A complete set of rooms guarantees support for the comprehensive cuisine available in the new Casino: the Gourmet Restaurant, panoramic restaurants, 3 support areas in the gaming area as well as in the famous “Arena Lounge”, where the different shows are held.
Coinciding with the national fervour during the 2006 World Cup, Matrix refrigeration chambers were chosen by the original Hattrick Caffé in Lisbon, which came about as a result of collaboration with the management of the online game Hattrick, the biggest community of football followers on the Internet. This modern and original bar-restaurant serving Mediterranean food has become a meeting point for the biggest “footballers” in the capital.
In Oporto, Coldkit rooms are used in the eating areas in the prestigious “Casa da Música”. This magnificent building, designed by OMA - Rem Koolhaas, and recently opened to the public, has become a cultural and aesthetic icon of the city.
Another case, of which we are particularly proud, is in the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, where we installed a room for conserving the important film library of this prestigious institution.
Our products are also associated with the renovation of the emblematic bullring in Campo Pequeno, having supplied our products to the innovative Sá supermarket in the new shopping mall.
