CB Sound Video Light Ltd provides first class installation services. We provide temporary or permanent installations to suit different customer requirements. Our experienced team carries out site surveys to determine limitations in order to design bespoke systems that meet customer requirements.

Education Sector

Service Maintenance & Repair

We carry out a range of service, maintenance and repair packages for schools, corporate customers, councils and more. We also carry out regular AV servicing of audio visual equipment in shops, bars, restaurants, hotels and more.

Our highly trained maintenance engineers carry out testing to national standards. Band and DJ PAT testing is also available. Service and repairs are carried out on site where necessary or equipment will be removed for repair if necessary. If equipment needs to be repaired off-site, our team will install temporary replacement parts in the interim.

Hearing Induction Loops


Hearing induction loops are fantastic systems designed to provide users with a direct source of audio that is free from background noise, reverberation or room noise. Unfortunately, we regularly come across hearing induction loop systems that have been installed incorrectly by other companies, causing no benefit to the user whatsoever.


Our engineers can test pre-existing hearing induction loops and modify/ replace systems if necessary. We can provide hearing induction loops to suit a range of requirements. Examples include: counter induction loops, conference induction loops, theatre induction loops and more.

Outdoor Events


We provide complete outdoor event solutions. Typical events include: weekend festivals, fireworks nights, motor and car shows, fetes, carnivals, sports events and more.

  • Staging and Stages: CB works with approved suppliers to install and dismantle inflatable and rigid stages ensuring all structures meet health and safety regulations.
  • Festival and Stage PA and Lighting: we install various stack speaker systems and flown point source arrays to suit different event requirements.

Ground Loop Issues

Common problems with sound loops occur when two mains connected pieces of equipment are introduced causing a loop within a loop and a subsequent hum on the audio. Music Video & Interviews

Examples of our equipment includes: sennheiser ENF radio mics featuring hotshoe mounting, 650W fresnels and profiles with colour correction filters and portapromt unit to assist the presenter with scripts.

Projector Screen


CB Sound Video Light supplies high quality projector screens for sale or hire.

The range includes:

  • Pull up projector stand 180cm x 135cm: a self-supporting screen designed for quick and easy installation. This unit is assisted and held up by gas lift functions and retracts into a self-contained case for protection.
  • Fast fold projector screen rental: front and rear screen models are available to suit specific customer requirements. These screens are available in two sizes: 6inches x 8inches or 10inches x 7.5inches.

Strand Quartett Fresnel

The Strand Quartett Fresnel is a tough and robust, general purpose Fresnel featuring spot to flood focus. This unit is supplied with a 650W lamp and is widely used for small scale events such as school production, Xmas events and similar staged events. All equipment is maintained and regularly serviced ready for effective, reliable use. Units can be supplied for hire at day rate, week rate or weekend rate.   • Casio XJ-A145 Projector Hire: this unit is a laser/LED projector featuring electronic zoom and focus, 2000 ANSI lumens, keystone shift and more. Available inputs include: HDMI, VGA, S Video, Video, USB and WIFI.
  • Short Throw Projector Hire: the Viewsonic short throw projector is a compact unit that is widely used for conferences and exhibitions where space is at a premium. This unit features 3000 ANSI lumens, 0.65:1 short throw lens and + - 40% keystone shift. Available inputs include: HDMI, VGA, S Video and Video.
